Intro

Side projects are a really great way to grow. There is no better way to learn new technologies/concepts/frameworks than building an actual project.

Especially if you are passionate about the project and you are eager to learn a new technology or get better at it.

This article is done in collaboration with John Crickett, a seasoned engineering professional who has worked both as a senior IC (Staff+) and a senior manager (VP, Head of Software Development). He is also an author of Coding Challenges, where he shares weekly challenges focused on building real-world software.

Gregor’s story of the importance of side projects
