Loved this recap, Gregor – the collaboration pieces and industry reports are especially strong. I run a data leadership newsletter (Data Biz, https://jimmypang.substack.com/) and would be keen to co‑author something at the intersection of data/engineering leadership and AI in 2026 if you’re open to it.

Thanks Jimmy, glad to hear that! And yes, I'm interested. We'll find a good topic to work together on.

A few questions that pop to my mind after seeing your growth in 2025:

- How do you drive traffic from Reddit?

- What's the ARR of Engineering Leadership across all its verticals?

The first one comes from my own inexperience using reddit.

The second I think will give a realistic point of view of what all these numbers mean in terms of "can I make a living by writing online about a topic I'm knowledgeable about".

Thanks in advance.

Great questions Alberto!

Regarding reddit, I post on r/programming, that subreddit works best. I've added some more info about it here: https://newsletter.eng-leadership.com/p/how-to-start-grow-and-monetize-your

Regarding ARR, let's just say that I make more than I did in my full-time role.
